The Monitor is Failing; How to Fix

My MSI Ghost screen has started to have failing. The screen sometime goes green momentarily and then comes back to what it used to. When I raise the computer in an angle it works perfectly but when its parallel to the surface it start failing again.

Its kinda of an expensive laptop so any tip would be much appreciated.

This may be a cable issue more than a LCD issue . If changing the angle changes anything it leads me to believe the issue is where the cable passes between the hinge and the housing. Replace the cable and if the issue continues then replace the LCD . If you were to include the model number we could possibly provide more detail on fixing the issue. Hope this helps

Not exactly the problem, but still extremely helpful nevertheless. I do agree its is the cable.

A total teardown is required for a cable . be very careful when routing the cable back through the hinge so you don't have to do it a second time
