Why do certain apps on my iPhone 5c take up so much space?

every time i download and use a music app that has all my songs or a photo editing app,

my storage immediatly goes to 0 mb and its really frustrating since my music app doesnt take up space that much, but today i had to reinstall and delete the nusic app off my phone a hundred times because it took up 100 something mb when it really shouldnt at all, ive tried deleting songs i dont need but it still takes up space no matter what, it doesnt let me take photos or videos.,

my photo editing app on the other hand used to never have issue with space until a few days ago when i noticed that my phone kept saying, storage almost full like a hundred times !

i really dont know what to do since these two apps are my life and if i have to delete these apps over and over, i dont know what to do anymore :(

my iphone has never had this issue at all

What app is it? The built in app for music and photos or a different one?

It's a separate photo editing app that I use called PicsPlay pro 2

I use it to make my photos look beautiful

Back then I never had a issue with the storage when I used it

But now whenever I try to take a picture while the app is still on my phone it say can't take photo

Storage full !

Have you made sure your deleted photos album is empty? My dad was having a similar issue with just taking pics. He said he had already deleted the photos he didnt need etc. I then went into his photo album and found an album called deleted photos. It was full of all the photos he had deleted. Once they were deleted from there, he was good to go. Maybe this is your issue?
