Hola! My Macbook has a different coloured line in the middle of the screen, like 3cm, in the apple tecnic service, makes me a diagnosis who says "Display assembly", I dont know what is it, its possible to buy some piece and change with some friend who knows?
the apple service want like 500 euros for repair

an external display, if the problem persists it's your VGC (Video Graphics Chip), or GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) in that case it's probably easier to replace the logic board, as replacing/upgrading the VGC is not a DIY repair, if not you only need a new display.
Follow the guide to dismantle the top case and display until you can read the part number on the back-replacement displays can easily be found.
reassemble and check before completely snugging down the case.
