Won't Charge After Docking Port Replaced

HI

I've currently been working on an iPhone 5 that would not charge with any cable, what so ever it constantly stated for it to be plugged in. So since it wasn't registering the cords being plugged in, I purchased the docking port and replaced it. I was very meticulous with the repair and once I put everything back, I'm unable to get it to turn on, or even show that it is plugged in at all for that fact. It's like a paper weight.

Does anyone have any ideas on what could have went wrong. I even went back into it and verified that the battery was hooked up properly and that everything looked good and in the right places

Thanks in Advance for any help.

Sincerely

Vicky

Did you inspect the old charging port assembly to see if all 8 pins are there?

Chances are charging port is fine and charging ic chip is at fault instead.

It requires someone with microsoldering to get the chip replaced on the logic board.
