Why am I not receiving text to one specific number that is not blocked

I can receive calls and call a specific number. But I can not receive texts from said number. When I text them, they receive the text, but the text doesn't save in my messages app.... its like I didn't even text them.

@tylercochran does not appear to be hardware related since it works otherwise. For a solution you should check with your service provider.
