No operating system found when booting from USB

Hello,

I am trying to rebuild a samsung laptop as the current OS has issues however when I try to boot via USB (which has a iso image of Windows 10 Pro on it) but I am getting the below error:

"An operating system wasn’t found. Try disconnecting any drives that don’t contain an operating system"

I don't know why it is giving me the error though because I have used this USB on other laptops - HP and Asus laptops. I have also tested this USB again on my laptop and set my laptop boot priority to boot from USB and it worked a treat, but when I plug the USB back into the samsung laptop and set the boot priority to boot from USB, I get the above error message.

Please advise how I can boot from USB on this samsung laptop as I am struggling.

I have uploaded a video of the BIOS settings, the link to this video is below (please ignore the background sound):

Thanks,

Did you use the Windows 10 tool to create a bootable USB?

Hi, I used iso to usb to create the bootable usb. i know this works as I have used it on my HP laptop and my girlfriend's ASUS laptop. But using on my dads laptop it having problems.

I've seen compatibility problem with iso to usb, and this is BIOS dependent. Try creating the USB manually using Diskpart and bootmgr. https://betanews.com/2015/07/29/how-to-c...

Have you tried booting the USB stick with the UEFI option enabled in the bios ?
