MacBook not powering on

It started out beeping every five seconds with a black screen when I turned it on. I looked the issues and what I found was about resetting the RAM. After attempting to reset the RAM the screen came on and acted like it wanted to power up and then shut off at the last moment.

Hi @blades95

check for any oxidisation on the ram contacts, if there were some, use an eraser to rub the golden contacts of it.

If you had tried and not working, perhaps consider to test with another known working RAM.

I checked the contacts on RAM. There wasn't any oxidation on them. Put them back in and it didn't do anything to it.

Thank you very much for trying to help me with my situation.

Hi @blades95, loan a RAM from a friend and try powering up, you can also try powering one stick of RAM at a time
