What is causing screen issue after iPhone 5s battery replacement?

Hi,

I just replaced my iphone 5s battery and everything is working except for an issue with my screen when I press with moderate pressure. (I have linked a video to show what it looks like). What is it that causes this?

Those are pressure marks. That means something isn't sitting right underneath the screen and it applies pressure against the LCD when you press.

Go back through the battery replacement guide and check to make sure everything is in place. If you removed anything else to get at the battery (i.e. the Dock), then check that as well.

Nice! thanks so much. It was how I installed the new adhesive tape, the tab was stuck to the front side of the battery and must have made contact with the LCD back plate.

My pleasure!
