burning up mower belts on deck.
just put belt on and while mowing smelled it burning stoped looked at it and its badly worn? what do you think my problem is, spindles are turning freely.

It's to loose or to tight or rubbing. Rotate the blade to see if you can determine which it is. Check the functioning of the idler pulley here on page 24:

the belt I took off measured 96 inch so the man told me to get a 95 inch and yes it is lose so I just ordered a 92 inch belt hope that works tryed a 86 inch way to tight.
One or both of the idler pullies should have a tension spring on them to keep the belt tight.
one tension pullie does work but belt still lose, so this time ordered a 92 inch belt.
