I can't transfer my recovered files to my new hard drive. NO SPACE

So I was done scanning and recovering my files from wondershare. Now I want to recover and save it to my new 1TB Seagate hard drive. The files recovered was about 700GB. My hard drive format is MacOs Extended (Journaled). I also checked if there are partitions and there are none. It keeps on saying that there is no free space in my hard drive even if I'm transferring a 400kb file. Please someone answer me! Please please and thank you!

It would be helpful knowing which model of the MacBook Air you have. See if you can find it in this listing: EveryMac - MacBook Air systems. Once you know paste the systems URL here for us to see.

Is this new Seagate drive an external unit? If it is you'll need to use disk utility to prep the drive. I suspect you are seeing your internal drive.

You also may have issues with the cable connection between your system and the drive.

Can you give us the exact model of your external drive and how it is connected to your system.

Hi! Yes it is a new external hard drive. I used disk utility to format it to macos extended and to check the partitions if there is.

It is connected via the usb cable. Here's the model: Seagate backup plus portable drive. Model: SRD00F1

Can you open Disk Utility and take a screen shot showing the Root drive and the partition info (clicking the base and the tabbed section on the left). Then paste them here for us to see in a rush Answer pane.

Don't forget your system info as well!
