iPhone 7 Screen Replacement Parts?

I dropped my iPhone 7 and the screen is cracked in several places. However, there is NO problems whatsoever with the functions. Everything opens quickly. Everything slides quickly. There is no problem with color display. There seems to be nothing functionally wrong with... just a cracked screen. So when getting a repair kit, do I need one with the digitizer? Or just a standard repair kit? And how hard is repairing it? I really don't have almost 150 to cough up for a simple cracked screen with nothing is functionally wrong with the phone. And Apple insists on replacing EVERYTHING. I need help.

You need to replace the entire screen assembly as the digitizer is fused with the LCD. You can get one here on iFixit. However, if the cracks aren't cutting your fingers, you can hold off awhile until you have more cash and a real need to replace it. Check out the guide to see what's involved.

The flexes are real sensitive to tears so you have to be careful with the Home button or else you will have all kinds of problems (there are quite a few threads on this forum).
