Lost video, but still have sound, likely from water damage
Lost video but retained audio during an outdoor event. There was a gentle rain and I believe water got under the canopy and cover of the TV (it's mounted on the side of a trailer) and caused the damage. When I fire up the generator and turn on the TV I can get audio from my laptop via HDMI but I cannot get any video.
It's a samsung flat screen model UN50ES6100F type UN50ES6100.
Has anyone experienced similar events and is there anything I can do to repair the TV? I work with agricultural electronics for a living so I'm not opposed to splitting the thing and checking/replacing parts, but I don't know where to start.
