Why won't my battery charge?

I recently replaced my battery in a MacBook pro 15" 2011 model. I did so using ifixit instructions and battery. After 3-4 charge cycles, the battery will no longer charge. The macbook says battery not charging and the magsafe cable never turns amber. I have tried everything online such as unplugging power adapter and resetting the smc. What are the odds I have a bad battery?

I think you have a faulty battery, Everything was working until now. See if you can get a refund. What brand was this battery?

Are you able to send a picture of your charging panel? You might have to get a new charging panel or charger.
