Alfred The Great you did not tell us if your power LED is blinking at all. If it is not, you do want to check the power supply. Make sure that your set is getting power from the outlet. If that is verified, unplug your set and remove the back and check the fuses on your P board.
Check the fuses for continuity first. Make sure that your set is unplugged and that you do not touch anything with your bare hands. May become a shocking experience since the caps will still be charged. Post a couple of images of your boards with your question so we can see what you see. The 5 fuses ,as indicated, each have continuity. I have images, but the OPTIONS menu doesn't have the EDIT option.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that the LED doesn't light.

Alfred The Great that is strange about the Edit option. Of course you need to check on your original question. Anyhow, just add the images anywhere or email them to me and I post those for you. If you are up to it, you could measure the power on the fuses. For that you will have to plug your set in and turn it on. Careful here so you do not get zapped or shorten anything out with the probe. Black probe to ground red on the fuse (either end) and scale to AC voltage on your meter. Let us know what you get.

I would love to plug it in and turn it on, but it DOESN'T TURN ON. When I press the on switch, on the TV or the remote, It does the same wether it's plugged or not - nothing.

With power to the board, the fuse to the left of the power plug shows 0 volts, although it has continuity. (my board is exactly like the picture below)
