Hey there! What you are looking for is the sleep/wake sensor, and it's located just to the left of the shift key(ish). This video shows someone using an external magnet to put his laptop to sleep. Hope this helps!

The sensor uses the Hall Effect and heres how the Hall Sensor is used.

With your video i have could see the position of sensor and the yesterday after i changed the thermal paste i not connect the connector on the motherboard.
