Why does my phone get switched off although there is charge ...

My phone gets switched off although there is charge and doesn't switch on by the power button also taking out the battery and inserting it in again doesn't help until and unless I plug it in to the charger it's really so irritating... please help me it causes lots of problems when I go out...

It's possible your battery has a bad cell.

Lithium Ion batteries are always trying to keep the individual cells of the pack uniformly charged.

If one cell in the pack has died, and the controller has no choice but to try to pull more current from that cell than it can provide, then the voltage supplied to the device drops, causing the device to come to an instantaneous cold stop.

It happened to me on my MacBook Pro, It would shut down cold at about 80% reported life remaining.

I think there was a similar situation with iPhone 6s batteries, and my mom had one of the problem ones, It wasn't nearly as consistent I terms of battery life remaining, but I suspect that's because as percentage of maximum, a phone would swing much wider in terms of how much current it needs.
