My computer does not want to start up after water damage

Hi my MacBook is not working after liquid damage, I clean it out however the magasave light is a softer green and the battery indicator first blink one led and then all 8 when pressed again. The MacBook does not want to start up.

@happysingh - remove the battery and try to power on computer directly connected to magsafe. You may need to perform SMC reset if magsafe light is not green. Could be bad power button on keyboard (liquid damage), bad battery or bad logic.

Eric should Happy try for a spontaneous reboot by disconnecting both the mag-safe and the battery then reconnecting? An explanation or link to how to do a SMC would help this answer.
