i called radio shack and they said they have it but it is nine bucks and i think it is the #5 thermal paste is that the right one and what is the diffrence in that one and the other one

This info from the arctic silver site http://arcticsilver.biz/as5.htm "3 to 12 degrees centigrade lower CPU full load core temperatures than standard thermal compounds or thermal pads when measured with a calibrated thermal diode embedded in the CPU core." Could make a difference if you are overclocking etc....good luck.

I don't think theres an real difference. One might make it run a few degrees cooler (like 2-3), otherwise they're the same.
