replacement of flat cables

hi,

i have issues with reconnecting this two flatcables back to their socket.

i get them into it for... well 1/3 of the Way but then i have no more grip/power to push them further.

anybody got a trick how to reconnect them totally without damaging them?

I use electricians black tape! I cut a strip as wide as the cable, fold the end over to make a pull tab. Then placing it on the top side of the ribbon just below the connection it gives me a very easy way to ease the ribbon into place.

Don't forget to make sure the connectors slide bar is in the relaxed state and you didn't pull it off either which is quite easy to do!

Once in place the tape is easy to pull off as the adhesive is not too strong.

Well this fixed it, tank you Dan !

But the Problem (MacBook isnt able to charge the Battery anymore) still exist. :-(

I had already replaced the Battery, the external AC-Adapter and now the Internal DC-Adapter.

Semms to be a Problem with the Logic Board - but at least i tried to fix it .... :-(
