ASUS F202E-CT148H 4GB 1333Mhz to 8GB RAM replacement performance?

My ASUS F202E-CT148H laptop performance is very slow so, I am thinking to upgrade the 4GB 1333Mhz ram to 8GB i.e 4Gb in each slot. Will it increase the performance of my laptop ? Also which brand RAM will give good performance and Do I need to buy low voltage RAM or other.

Please do share the link of RAM which I can buy online in India.

Any inputs will be appreciate.

Thanks,

Yogesh

Doubling your RAM would only produce a 20% to 33% speed increase. Your bottleneck is at your hard drive. Either switch to an SSHD or SSD hard drive, which would more than double your speed.

For the SSD, you are looking for the SATAIII interface (the largest physical size). The samsung's are the most popular. However, if you plan to get an WD blue, look for a Sandisk X400. This is exactly the same drive, but still includes drive encryption security that WD removed when they purchased Sandisk.
