sounds like a bad digitizer consider replacing or invest that money towards a newer iphone

Is this after a screen replacement the touch didn't work, or did it just stop working the original screen? If it just stopped working, then you will probably need a screen replacement.

Replace the screen.do not try it yourself if you are beginner.iphone 4 screen replacement need some set of skill to replace.

ok,is there any repair shop near yourplace? if yes ask them to bypass their screen a few to make sure that it is really logicboard problem. sometimes parts we bought are defected/malfunction during shipment.

The LCD may be bad. Have you tried a new screen or "tester" screen?
