Were to connect a water pump

I have been making a custom Xbox one for my lady and have ran into one issue. I want to power a waterloop internally for the system. I have been trying to find a way to power it without using a constant power source where I can connect it to when the system powers on. Anyone have any ideas?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

There is only 2 easy options that would provide the 12v your pump needs to run. (If this isnt a 12v pump, please tell me and we can find different options), From the hard drive power or the DVD drive power.

Find out how much current your pump needs, if its only a few Milliamps, you could probably tap from those, if it needs like 300 Milliamps and up, I would not use those but rather tap off the main power coming in and just step it down to the proper voltage needed to run your pump.

I didn't notice that I forgot to add the pump that I was using. Here is the link to it

Sorry it took so long, I have been working a lot.

From what I can see, its 1.5Amps which is quite a bit. Im not sure the PSU can handle the xbox and the pump. Now as im not sure its correct, set the loop up and then using a multimeter set to DC Amps, cut the power wire for the pump (using an external 12v psu rated for atleast 2A) and put one probe on one wire and the other one on the other one. With that ONLY CUT 1 WIRE, Either positive or negative will work but you can only cut one. Measure the Amperage and get back to me. I will find you a viable option at that point.
