Screw is stripped, what to do?

Hi,

I am repairing a iPhone 6, and one screw is completely stuck. I tried the gluing to the screwdriver method, but it only made it worse and made it stick even more.

I do not have a drill or rubber band. What should I do? I could remove the whole metal part, since I'm sure that screw in the middle of the two others have little impact on the phone itself. But would that be stupid?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Michael for your answer!

This was helpful info, but i fixed it just now actually by using different sized pentalobe screwdrivers and a bigger phillips screwdriver to unscrew it once it was loose. Oh boy did that one screw cause alot of trouble... :P

Glad you didn't have to cut it out and got it. Best of luck!

I just had this issue yesterday on an iphone 6s... little buggers are tight! Anyway, I used a small dremmel but guess a small file would work too to make a notch across it and used a straight screw driver to get it out. Hope that helps...
