stopped working, no red light so wont even turn on.

My ps3 super slim stopped working, no red light so wont even turn on. I just got another super slim and swapped my hard drive but now it wont let me log in as it says either my user name and /or password are incorrect. Any help with that? I think the data transfered as it says transfere successful but now i cant log in. Tried the reset password but cant go any further as the account varification is saying i have to wait to resend request and if i wait it says timed out.
