Où se trouve/Where is my EEPROM on my bn4102156a mthrboard?
Bonjour,
Merci d'avance.
Hi,
After an unwelcome and unauthorized update my "Smart" TV is now looping between on and off and stays around 15secs on between cycles.
I have a 2years and some months old tv UE48h6400AW with a bn4102156a motherboard. It's just past warranty coverage.
My remotes don't seem to have any effects but I can manage to turn the tv off. The joystick in the back is as useless as the remotes.
Samsung told me to unplug it and wait then plug it but it was no use. I opened it up since the warranty is expired.
I couldn't see any damaged condensors but I'm no expert eather...
I just would like to reset eeprom to get my tv back and do a manual update or none at all depending on my confidence afterwards.
So I'm here to find the EEPROM and a potential guide to reset it and get my tv working again. If anyone would help me I'd be grateful.
Sincerely.
Edit:
Voici ou j'en suis.
Here is where I'm at.
Merci d'avance.
You can even see my brand new Ifixit kit in the corner of one of the pics xD.
Can anyone identify the EEPROM on there or is there an other that doesn't imply either waiting 2 weeks for a foreign used mainboard, or paying over 120€ for a new French mainboard delivered in 48h, or changing TV which... make sense but is too expansive and not what I'm looking for...
Or does anyone has found the schematics or a repair guide?
Thank you
Merci.
Hi, I fixed my TV by replacing the MB by a functionning one but I am still interested in finding the EEPROM chip by curiosity and eventually to fix it. I'd also apreciate if someone could tell me where to find the chip responsible for the sound/audio and how to fix it or replace it because it seems it crashed during the neverending loop stage.
Thank you all.'''
Is this a good question?
