How do I repair or replace the USB ports?

I have a sofa from Slumberland (the lincoln collection) with a fold down table that has USB ports. They have gotten broken from various people not plugging/unplugging the usb cords correctly, but since I called for repair >2 weeks after first noticing the problem, the warranty does not cover it.

I have figured out where the cords are underneath, but I can't figure out

1) how to remove the plastic cover over the usb ports on the table without damaging it (for using after repair)

2) where to find replacement usb ports for this application.
