What is this cable for? has 3 connectors on it.

My daughter put in a new keyboard for her MacBook pro 2012 but could not put the rest back together so I am trying to help. There is a wire in upper right corner coming from frontside that I can't recognize. Does it go to keyboard or display?

I don't see a photo yet but the only thing coming off that keyboard should be the power on button.
