Hi Fadi, Its an obvious Fire Hazard. I would call Anker and ask for a replacement. They may want the old one back, but thats what i would do as a former Firefighter. Im sure they will help you out, even if you have to buy another one, it is peace of mind. It does have an 18 month warranty. Something caused it to fry. Hope this helps. Thank you yes Anker did ask me to return it but it will cost me to return it so i bought a new one and cut the old one battery but i want to learn from it

Good, glad you bought a new one. Using a non-certified cord could cause it to fry. they state on their web site to use the OEM cord or one that is MFi certified. Im not saying you used the wrong cord, just an FYI for future. Good luck with the new one.
