Why wont my tv turn on
My TV was working perfectly and now it won't even turn on a light is on next to the power light but I can't get it to turn on why

Alice Juarez is it possible that your model is a Samsung LN40B (instead of 8)550K1FUZA. This particular series does have issues with bad transformers on the power board. I would suggest that you unplug your set remove the back and take a look at the boards. Check the power board for any obvious damaged components. you can test the transformer with an ohm meter or you can always post some pictures of your boards with your question. that way we can see what you see. Use this guide for that.
