I have had the radio for 13 years with no problem
Is this a good question?

When was the last you used the radio? XM merged with Sirius in 2008 and slowly discontinued support older devices.

Where is the sat radio located, portable radio or car mounted etc?
If car mounted, what is the make, model and year of the vehicle? it could be an antenna problem
