paper jam indicator light on

The paper jam indicator light on my hp 6500 injet printer went on. I followed every youtube video on the subject but the light remains on. I thoroughly searched every possible location with a bright light for even the tiniest scrap of paper may be, including lightly using "dust off"to clean all parts of the printer rollers but to no avail.

is it possible that there is a faulty sensor?
