I replaced my iPhone 4s with a new display following the guide on iFixit. When i powered it on it showed display but was a little distorted. And i also discovered the home button not working so i disconnected and checked the home button but found it to be okay. i reassembled everything all connectors and screws, powered it on the 2nd time but this time it doesn't show any display at all. But when i connect on computer it shows that it is on

First try refitting and make sure that both the flex cables are seated correctly.

With the iPhone 4/4s, the flex cables have to be bent correctly in through the metal mid frame.

If you bend them too much it will damage the flex cables.

It could be that.

Try another screen but pay attention to how you feed the cables through the mid frame.

Good luck!
