Late 2008 MacBook Pro battery upgrade?

I have just bought a late 2008 MacBook pro 2.0ghz model with the user removable battery. I Have upgraded the ram and hard drive but the biggest issue since I got it was the battery life. The battery is still reading 96% but it's not enough.

Is there a way that I can fit a new 2010 battery in to get better battery life.

No you can't go to the new battery yet. You meter may be showing 96%, but 96% of what? Download and run Coconut battery to really see what its condition is: http://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutba...

I buy the best batteries I can find. I've had good luck with Duracell but it only has a thirty day warranty.http://www.duracelldirect.com/apple_macb...

For the best, get a Truepower with a one year warranty: http://store.fastmac.com/product_info.ph...
