New 3ds XL won't turn on

I recently replaced the action buttons board on my 3ds xl due to a faulty A button. For a few days the 3ds worked fine. However, after I put the 3ds in sleep mode and charged it for a few hours, it turned off on its own and never turned back on.

I tried a different battery but I still cannot turn the 3ds on. I can see the charging light when the 3ds is connected to a charger, but nothing happens when I press the power button.

Any idea what could be causing the issue?

Options

Try a new flex ribbon for the abxy board or just connecting it again from both sides.

Hmm... This may actually be helpful for my 3DS, since it broke, but stayed on until it was then closed, when it began powering off every time after that after a few seconds, and it seems some ribbon cables are broken on it...
