Bluetooth is very weak and cuts out after disassembly, what's wrong?

After a screen replacement on an iPhone 4 32GB I reinstalled IAW the guide here on ifixit. The problem/question is, everything works great, but once stereo bluetooth comes on I can only get 10 to 15 feel away without it cutting out, also if the phone is in my pocket it will cut out. I went through the phone again, cleaned all contacts with 99.9% pure Iso alc wearing latex gloves and only made a slight improvment, all internal parts are in great shape with no damage other than the back cover was exposed to a heat gun tring to remove the back glass. What is the next step in fixing the bluetooth? Is the bluetooth using the back cover attenna?

This pressure contact touches a small area on the backplate of the phone which is part of a separate antenna array. Check out this forum and look at the posting from JoshHawn http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.p... and the antenna itself is discussed here http://robertthorpeconsulting.com/wordpr... good reading. I do think that they use the back plate pressure contacts to connect. So make sure that they make contact. Hope this helps, good luck.
