Replacing Lower Case with Hard Case

Can you replace the rubber backing with a hard back? My computer gets too hot and warps it. Any suggestions are welcomed.

A new case is NOT the answer. Address the cause of the heat. First tell us exactly what model you have. Next tell us about the heat issue. You may just need a fan.

After thinking about your question, my first guess is that it's a MacBook that shipped between October 2009 and April 2011.

I'm sorry that your question hasn't been answered. I'm not aware of a solid lower case replacement for your MacBook but there are new replacement lower cases available that should last a long time, such as this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Eathtek-New-Lowe...

There are also used lower cases on eBay in good condition for around $20. iFixit may sell them here on their site as well.
