My television screen is blinking

My LG TV is blinking rapidly I can see that the show & hear the sound is on but the screen just keeps blinking.

If you switch to an input with no signal, do you still get the same result?

If your tv will not go to an input unless there is a signal, play it and once the pulsing starts, unplug the signal from the set and you should get a splash saying something to the effect of "no signal". If it still pulses, we have eliminated the video board as the cause. Let us know and if you still need assistance we'll guide you to the next step.
