Home button won't work on my Samsung Galaxy S6 after dropping my phone in bucket of water. It hasn't worked in 2 months since the incident happened.

Options

You really need to clean the phone to remove the water and prevent corrosion, or further damage may occur. Follow these guides to open your phone, and clean it. The iPhone guide represents cleaning well. Do this ASAP.

If that still doesn't fix it, replacing the motherboard may be necessary, or possibly just the home button.
