TouchID doesn't work after lightning port replacement

Hi,

I replaced my lightning port / headphone jack on my 6s. After replacement, everything works fine except for touchID. My fingerprint isn't being detected at all. I can't use my fingerprint to unlock the phone, and if I go to set up a new fingerprint, I just get stuck on the first page when it asks me to place my finger on the home button. Any ideas how to fix it? I'm still using the original, working home button and motherboard. Just replaced the lightning port module.

Thank you.

Technically, there isn't a link between the Lightning Port flex and the TouchID. However if you followed this guide, then you may have damaged the the Home Button Flex or connector on the logic board. I would do a visual inspection, preferably under magnification. Look for broken or missing poins on the connector or tiny tears in the flex.
