Anyone know how the Front Facing Camera Works?

I installed a new screen, and wonder if I damaged the glass where the front facing camera sits, or the camera itself. Although I don't really see many marks on the glass, installing the front cam yields a fuzzy picture. Now I know that the piece on the front of the camera can turn. I'm not sure if i put the camera out of focus or its the lens or glass.

Any ideas?
