Half white screen flickering

I have a Samsung s7 edge. It was dropped a few months ago and the back panel shattered along with a small corner on the top front. Phone was working fine despite the glass being broken. Then last week for no apparent reason the bottom section of the screen went white and flickers with multi colours. I checked it safe mode and it was still there so I have done a cache clearing and now a factory reset. Still the white screen remains. Should I remove the glass to see if the LCD works? I do not want to change the whole screen if there are things I can try first.

Hi,

Amoled screens can break quite easily, this is more than likely a screen issue, replacing the entire display is your only option at this point. :-)
