Microphone not working when calling on loud speaker.

Hello,

I recently got the iPhone 5 but for some reason when I am calling and I put the call on loud speaker the person on the other end can't hear me but I can hear them. Note that this only happens when calling on loud speaker, "regular" calling works just fine.

Thank you

Hopefully you just have to replace the flat cable including front camera and proximity sensor. It's a pretty easy and inexpensive replacement and in any case the first to try to resolve your issue.

Does your mic work when you talk to Siri?

In my opinion, it sounds like the charge port flex needs to be replaced since that has the mic that works in speaker mode. On the newer phones you have 3 separate mics, 1 for siri, one for when your have it on speaker mode and the other for when you're just using your ear speaker. On the 5, I can't remember if Siri uses the same as the one for the speaker. But regardless I think you need that flex replaced.

Let me know what was the fix, if you get it fixed. I'm curious to know. Hope it all goes well!
