Small light bleed on bottom of screen after replacing home button?

So I replaced the battery and the home button and everything works fine, however there's a small spot at the bottom of the screen that's yellow across white and white across black in that spot on the lcd. Looks like backlight bleed and if i press on the screen it gets bigger with pressure. Could I have tightened one of the screws too much on the home button? Is it worth reopening to see?

Perhaps the adhesive used under battery too thick?

Battery is pushing against screen?

Could be something under screen e.g a loose screw, home button cable getting snagged.

but the screen has a protective metal plate between it. You mean between the plate and the glass, or under the plate where the home button is? It actually got a bit smaller since last night, you think it could get worse with time or damage the lcd?

Under the home button itself. It might just go away and even itself out over time which is fine.
