Housing replacement, now not taking a charge!

Hey all !

Having a what I'd like to say small problem but not quite ! I changed the housing on my iPhone 6s Plus was in full working order when I changed housing however obviously the housing was in bad condition I then decided to change it, I replaced everything perfectly organised all components anyways the phone went back together perfectly I also replaced the battery as I feel I may have damaged the old when removing, it didn't look great, anyways once I installed new battery I 'thought' everything was perfect I tried everything on the phone to make sure all was working later that day I came to charge it ? Well then nothing it's not even indicating it's being plugged in, at this point now I've totally cleaned out the charging port took it apart to check connections and put back together nothing I'm running out of ideas.

The obvious would be to replace the charger port but ? It was fine before hand ? And to be honest I never really handled the charger port / headphone jack that much to affect it as I took all mother board and charge port out at once so ? I dont feel I broke or Mis handled it

Any help would be massively appreciated very stuck and only 30% left

Either the charging port assembly is either not installed / aligned fully to the charging port.

OR

It's pry damage on the charging port assembly itself.
