Why is the wifi connected but the play store not working?

My tablet reset i dont know how it did but i was USB charging it to my Xbox 360 and it kept dying because i was trying to charge it while I was texting and then it shut down so I just decided to let it charge. Te after a while i turned it back on and it was in Chinese and all my apps were gone and I did a factory data reset and it stayed the same. So I went to a tech store and they told me that its a manufacturing problem. So i went home and put everything back in English (my photos did not get deleted i still have all my photos) and I got connected to my strong WiFi and went to the play store (1 Mobile Market) and it just keeps loading and when I try to search something it says network error.
