Fire stick constantly needs to be reset?

I have had the fire stick for 2 months. when i turn it on, its dark not working. i opened the back of the remote took out the batteries and put them back in. so it worked. however everytime i try to use it the same thing happenes...all black no sound or picture.

It covered under warranty, return it and get one that works.

Hello, have you tried running through a "troubleshooting guide" like this Firestick black screen walkthrough?

Usually the fix is something simple - like the TV is switched to the wrong HDMI port.
