My phone won't go past tmobile screen

I have tried all the steps I can find. I can''t get to safe mode.

The only thing I can get to is if I push volume down, power button, and home button. It will bring me to a screen with a android tell me to push down to restart or up to continue. But I get stuck on that screen and never get anywhere. Please help. I have irreplaceable baby photos on the phone :.(

Try flashing Samsung firmware onto phone using this method:

http://updato.com/how-to/how-to-install-...

This will not wipe your data unless you specifically perform a wipe data factory reset in recovery mode.

You can boot recovery mode by holding power + volume up + home (release power once samsung logo shows up) keep holding rest and it will boot recovery mode. If you see any red text at bottom left of screen post it here.

Otherwise proceed with flashing the phone which is done by having the phone in download mode via (power + volume down + home).

It does sound like corrupt android samsung firmware to me that just needs reflashing / update via odin.

Do not do it through Samsung Kies or Smart Switch as that wipes data on flash.

I have seen this issue with a bad power button connection. Unfortunately repairing the power button if this is the issue would require soldering/heat experience and equipment.

I would reccomend finding a shop local to you that might have this experience especially if you have unreplaceable photos! If you give a general idea of your location I can do my best to help you locate a technician/shop who Is known in the community to look further into the issue.

This is not a guarantee, I just know a bad button can cause boot issues.
