Touchpad and touch screen not working

Hi all.

Few ways ago mi touchpad and touchscreen stopped working. I tried to fix it so I downloaded latest Smart Gesture updates and the problem dissapeared.

The following day the laptop had the same problem and had to uninstall and install Smar Gesture again. The problem persists since I have to do the same thing almost every day.

Is there any way you may know to fix this?

try this- open DEVICE MANAGER click Human Interface Device.. you should see (2) I2C HID Device, if none, switch off your laptop and if you can unscrew and open your laptop. Try to remove the flat ribbon cable of the touch pad, Switch on again and see what will happen...
