After battery replacement screen won't turn on.

screen will not turn on after I replaced the battery. I'm not surprised since this is my first time opening a phone. I know its on because the led turns on (the one on the top not the screen led). it would be nice not having to replace anything else.

Check the flex cable for the lcd.
