Headphone Jack Stuck on Digital Out and Tried EVERYTHING to fix!

So the title pretty much explains it all. My Macbook headphone jack has been stuck on digital out for 4 months now. I have literally tried every "trick" to fix it: compressed air, putting a q-tip in the jack, putting a paper clip in the jack, putting my headphones in the jack quickly, several times, and moving around (same with q-tip and paper clip). I've restarted my computer, I've reset the system management controller, I've even tried to take my computer apart to see if there was some way to fix it that way! These were all tips I read about on this forum and other mac forums.

The question now is, obviously, none of these things worked for me and I want to fix this problem so is there a way to actually fix it on my own, or do I have to go to the apple store and pay ridiculous prices?

Thanks!

SOMETIMES....the red light is on because the dimples inside the port are stuck "in" think of a prong that goes in a hole and the expands....sometimes inserting a q-tip and pulling it out fast will fix them (release them) and allow it to free itself....BUT, I've also had issues where it has actually been a bad logic board as well, so it's a crap shoot. Good Luck.

i have gotten rid of the "stuck on headphone" problem by booting into another OS such as puppy linux; just by loading another OS it seemed to fix the problem...
